Description

The listing, Pampas Grass seeds has ended.

This is for 1.5" X 2" bag of seeds
Pampas Grass, Plant after last chance of frost!

Get them now because i am running out of seeds so these will not be on here much longer. ( Good Luck!)

I am not sure of the zone for these everything I found was 4-8 zone but most was 6 to 8 zone & I live in zone 5 it grows here.

Steps
1Choose a location with full sun to partial shade. Locations receiving at least 6 hours of sunlight daily are best for maximum growth.
Keep in mind that the grass can grow to be over 10 feet (3 m) tall. You will want to choose a location with a lot of room for growth.
Stay away from areas where children play due to the sharp edges of the pampas grass leaves.
2Prepare the soil where you intend to plant the grass.
Pampas grass enjoys well-drained fertile soil.
Add an organic compost, peat moss or manure to the soil.
3Dig a hole with a shovel for planting the pampas grass in the late spring.
The hole should be around 15 inches (38 cm) deep and about 17 inches (43 cm) wide for planting a gallon container of pampas grass.
Place holes at least 6 feet (1.8 m) apart if planting multiple clumps of pampas grass.
4Spread the roots apart by hand before positioning the plant into the hole.
5Backfill the dirt around the plant. You can add sand to the soil if your chosen area does not drain well.
6Water the ornamental grass only 1 time every couple of weeks for the first year of growth. Water more frequently during periods of extreme drought. No watering is needed after the plant is well established.
7Fertilize the grass with a high-quality garden fertilizer once per year to enhance the beauty of the flowers.
8Prune established pampas grass clumps with trimmers in the late winter or early spring months.
Cut through the clumps after pruning to divide them. The sliced clump can then be planted elsewhere.

Thank you, I have been trying to get all kinds of different ones. I think they are so neat! I have been just starting out with mine as well. I have had this one for about 2 years but it was a full plant when i got it. I had won the pink ones on here received them & planted them right before winter hit. Then i found out not to plant them until after last chance of frost. well with the wind chill it is like 18 below here today so i kinda of think it was a wast of time planting them. I guess i will see in the summer. The guy i won the pink one from had no papers on them saying anything about them. Live & learn i guess. LOL I put papers in all of mine to try to help take the guessing game out of it & any wasted credits like mine was. But it's all good i plant all summer long if it comes up good if it don't i just do it again. between these & Humming Bird plants i will be lucky to have enough yard to plant a garden next year. LOL
