If you're like me, you love to play chess, but you are so bad at it that nobody will play with you. :-( Well, the Excalibur Kingmaster II doesn't care how badly you play - as long as you know how to move the pieces, this little computer will patronize you as long as his batteries hold out. And even then, you can plug a wall-wart power supply (not included) into it and play well into the night.

But wait, you say that you are a Grand Master? No problem, Kingmaster is sure to give you a run for your money.

This game features a full set of plastic chess pieces, each about 1" to 1-1/2" tall with magnetic bases to help hold them to the board as you play. The pieces store conveniently in a compartment underneath the board. An LCD indicates the computers moves as well as other vital info, including a game clock. Moves are made by lightly pressing down on the piece you wish to move and then pressing it down again on it's new square. I will also include a printed copy of the instruction sheet.

Originally, this game was made to play chess or checkers.While it will still play checkers, you'll have to improvise on the game pieces - they were missing when I got this. Tell ya what - I'll even throw in 12 pennies and 12 nickels that you can use to play checkers...
