I can't make out what kind of animals these are, but they look a little like alligators or lizards. They are polished natural gemstones in a brilliant pink/salmon color. We have some rhodonite mines in the Bradshaw Mountains that might have produced this, but I can't be certain if the stones are rhodonite. The necklace is approximately 21" in circumference, with a silvertone chain and barrel clasp. Very vintage.

My mother used to frequent trading posts and flea markets in Northern Arizona. She indulged her passion for Native American and other treasures, jewelry and curiosities. All of her pieces are 50s-70s. I'm continuing to clean out boxes from my garage, whenever I get the energy, and finding some lovely things of hers. I'm not sure exactly where she picked this one up but it was nice enough to keep throughout the decades since.
