Nope, it doesn't fold down completely. It has an extra little slip on the inside that can hold maybe a couple, then the larger opening for holding bills. That's pretty large... Then a little zipper where a little bit of change may fit. It is not a wallet, more of a evening out clutch.

It didn't come with a box. I got it for Christmas and it just came wrapped in tissue paper in a gift bag. Sorry!
