Questions & Comments
I actually plant okra for the flowers. They're just lovely! I give away the okra because, I'm not too keen on the slime effect. I've tried deep frying them but, me and hot oil just don't mix.
Last year I was so happy with the way my garden looked. I planted Okra in three different spots because it is so beautiful. It looks amazing next to brussel sprouts! Have you ever seen a brussell sprout plant? It reminds me of the plants in a low budget dinosaur film:) I love your profile pic. Betty Page is too cool.
Me too. Okra reminds me of my grandmother and Grandfather. My grandmother would fry or stew it with tomatoes and my grandfather would make the best gumbo. Mmmmm....
