⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Antique glass bottle of Airosol brand Insect Repellant. There's even some still in it. The bottle could use a little cleaning but I'm not touching it because I don't want to damage the label.

This belonged to my grandfather who passed several years ago. I do not know any other information about this item.

You must have a Listia verified address to win this, otherwise I'm keeping the credits and relisting the item.

No refunds for buyers remorse.

Please do not advertise on my auctions.

This item has free shipping so please take that into consideration when bidding.

Thanks for stopping by!

this is a 1968 insect repellent bottle manufactured for the U.S. Army to repel insects and leeches. Airosol Incorporated was established and funded by the U.S Government in 1943 only to make insecticide for the Army during WWII but in 1949 a man by the name of John Mathews bought the company and renamed it Airosol Company Inc.... hope this helps

I'm not an expert, however, there are a few things I can tell you about this bottle, just from the bottom of it. I don't know anything about the contents of the bottle. However, on the bottom, 7 is the series number of the bottle. Then, it says, "2 OZ." That is in agreement with the front of the label, in that the bottle held two fluid ounces of whatever is or was in it. (People also used-to re-purpose bottles back in the day; so, could possibly even be moonshine!) Anyway, the bottle originally held two fluid ounces of liquid. I'm not sure about the 9. It could easily be the month or something to do with the year that the BOTTLE was MADE.-That is not to say, that is when the bottle was filled. That would be anybody's guess.

Have a great day and fun with this auction. I am always glad to share what I know. -EJ =D

There's pictures posted with it beside a twenty. It's three inches and three quarters of an inch tall. It's two inches wide and one inch deep. :)

Yes there is a high possibility. The Vietnam War started in 1954 and didn't end till 1975. so most likely yes..

It's older than you think. There's no zip code and it has a metal cap. I think it's 1920s. Nice bottle.
