i'm not sure exactly what kind of yarn it is because it is some scrap yarn from my mom's past projects and my past projects that I make these little guys out of! I can tell you for a fact that it is NOT wool though. I NEVER make these out of wool. My mom is allergic and I don't want to make that mistake and have someone else be as well. Only wool yarn i have is kept separate from everything else :)

am sorry that i'm unsure of what yarn it is though :(
