green velvet jewelry presentation box for a necklace or earrings is solid - very little wear of the velvet or the bottom of box. the paper and original cotton elements of the box are only slightly tanned (as opposed to pure white) from aging. and ever so lightly, some sweet soul has written "stacy king" on the bottom of the box - in pencil! so it can surely be erased, if desired.
