How hard is it to grow Okra? I haven't ever tried before and my wife loves it.

it is very easy to grow okra, it is a hardy plant.

okra is not hard to grow with good soil and fertilizer it grows good on it own

It is very easy to grow in good soil, it is also hardy in hot summer heat.

I grew okra last summer. I had so much okra, I couldn't give away enough. okra loves heat.... perfect for southern state and drier areas. once okra forms, you will be snipping okra every morning. the more you snip, the more okra will grow. Also, don't let any okra get too big, it's tough and woody. if you snip the okra off when it's about 3 inches or so, its perfect! especially for pickling.

Thank you. My church is Share Ministries in Sherman Tx we have a food bank that gives food to the residents of Sherman and local towns and to non-profit groups in our community. I love it!!
