The listing, ASHTON DRAKE BOY " COOL AS A CUCUMBER" DOLL has ended.

Boy doll came with beach towel that says "cool as cucumber" i don't know much more about him. he is similar to ashton galleries . he has sunglasses no paperwork cute little fella and in perfect condition as it the towel.

update*****he was made by ashton drake by artist titus temescu # 2660fb
they stopped making him in 1991.
he was part of the set of 6 collection called barely yours.
he was the "cute as a cucumber" sunglasses come off and procelin.
sorry no coa with this one or original bo but never used and towel is with him he is in perfect condition and very cute..life like.

Hi he is cute. I just bought a truly real girl doll from Ashton Drake about 5 months ago. Really like them. Could you tell me what his eyes are like? Like glass or painted. This one is porcelain but poseable and what size is he in height while sitting? Thank you

his eyes are NOT PAINTED THEY ARE SET IN EYES brown and look realistic enuff that i keep the sunglasses on him. he looks a bit too REAL for me lol

He is numbered and signed in back of head but it will not show up in pics... i had hard time reading it.

I try to put up items people can appreciate and may not have access to and i know do not belong in a closet just sitting there. only fair they should go to a home where they can be truly treasured. ISN'T THAT WHAT LISTIA IS REALLY ABOUT? the more I go thru the closets o make room for things and prepare my oldest to go off to college the more treasures are found.I now call them my momsie surprise items lol. she is older in age and memory comes and goes and she knows she gave them to me but might not recall when she bought them and I have no idea how I got them here lol so everyone benefits. He really is adorable and so life like its ridiculous the crator of this series was very talented. let's face it..ashton drake is by far well known for their dolls and collections. i have two native american dolls but those are mine...love those and they have sentimenal meaning to me and my husband and our native american heritage, thus those i can not part with....i even have a doll from vietnam that was put in special display case. i know nothing about that one...just that while my uncle was serving our nation my nana had him get me a doll and she had it put in a special display. no idea of value but to me priceless. not big on dolls but those are sentimental to me. now what is at my moms i still have to look i know she has some kachinas new mexican dolls. lots and lots hand made. and lladros so will have to see what she wants to do with those those all have coa the lladros that is so please fan and check in to see what goes up next..believe moccassin kit may be next i put up for bid. with me never know what goes up for bid always interesting.

he is not in original box but i assure you my husband works for usps and good at helping me ship my items so they arrive perfect! i have my own ideas where he is movable....we are using packing popcorn to keep it as light as possible so only weight is the doll. i am going to wrap him so his moving parts will not be at risk. i take great pride in all my items have arrived safely and all my customers have been happy with the arrival of their items even the tricky ones. yes he is fragile no doubt but i am taking all the precautions os mr. cutie will arrive perfect as he is now. but he is a tad bit bigger and heavier than the baby lisa doll i listed earlier this month but she was in her original box. this fella is not and no paperwork aka no coa. he will be going usps priority 2-3 days for arrival. his weight is the issue for cost of shipping can not put him in any old box. thus weight of shippping is estimated as $25-$30 ish. hubby is going to bring home larger box than one we tried last night. he doubts the sipping will be more than that. i did not want him bringing the doll to work and weighing him and having something happen to him. that would have killed me. where he is so old and in perfect condition and not in original box i am taking all precautions!!! we have a box here that we think may work he should fit in perfect with packing popcorn etc. i hope this helps. but if you check my feedback everyone has been surprised how well i wrap my items. my last ashton drake went for higher price. this one is a steal but shipping is what it is and his size and shape is the reason why. sorry guys.

ok was asked earier the shipping is goind to depend on weight and hubby is estimating at approx $25- $30 ish because of box we need and that is priority mail 2-3 days. we are usiing packing popcorn to keep is safe and light as possible but depending on total weight and he is kind of heavy that is what hubby is saying

I was up all night getting more info on the little fella with no luck hubby struck it big time finding info. he isnt easy to locate ebay or otherwise. a few small collectible store have him and asking what i would say is way too much in the $200 range. this is a steal for what i am asking. enjoy where he is a collectible. sorry that i do not have paperwork with him but he is numbered and signed on back of his head which is not easy to see. so like my last ashton drake bid high and often and good luck to the winner. this is the last ashton drake doll i have!!

Yes very moveable tried to show by having arms and legs in different position his proper position should be in his knees. if you would like i can always take another picture but trying to be gentle because he is kind of old lets see he is between 15-17 years old it was for one of my sons which he looks like when they were young. very unusual but my sons are not into dolls just hockey and golf..aka things you whack with a stick. roflol
this is not to be whacked with a stick would like to find a proper hom. no paperwork or original box. looks like ashton galleries but no information on this but very life like.
