New with the tag attached- a Malachite cabochon set in a sterling silver ring. It is probably a size 7 (I wear a 6 and it is a little big, but stays on and also fits my other fingers).

It is stamped 925. It has a filagree design on each side of the Malachite. The Malachite cabochon is approximately 3/4 cm by 1/2 cm.

The Malachite is banded with beautiful varying greens. There are numerous bands that follow the shape/ cabochon of the stone.

Malachite is believed to be a strong protector of children. It is said to protect travelers. Malachite has been used to aid success in business and protect against undesirable business associations. It is a stone of balance in relationships.
