The listing, CAPITAL STOCK CERTIFICATES has ended.
This is a lot of 4 these are stock certificates that certify the amount of shares that were purchased from the MINDANAO MOTHER LODE MINES,INC. they were all registered at the Bank of America in San Francisco and signed by an authorized officer and co signed by a transfer agent from the Bank of California National Association three were registered in 1948 and one in 1950 two certificates have 1000 shares each one had 500, and the 4th one has 1250 shares and they each have an identification number. I don't know about them they were given to me and I don't know the person who had purchased them they are in great shape
Questions & Comments
Are they worth anything today? I never understood stock certificates. Was wondering.
I think they are worth something to the person or heirs listed on the certificate. The mine is still in operation as far as I could tell on a quick google search.
I too think they are worth something but I know very little about them they were given to me by an acquaintance along with some other things in a big box which included vintage books old letters from World War 2 many things from a long time ago I do think the certificates are worth something I mean there are 3,750 shares there I don't have any idea what a share is worth today. I just don't have the time to pursue the matter you should bid on them it may be the best bid you will ever have good luck
If your name is on the stock or a relative of then if mine is still being mined it would be be. not sure how someone could claim anything if their name isn't on it or if the mime is no longer being mined....don't know..just saying...they are cool..so what else is in the box that we can bid on would really like to see, sounds like you have some really cool things .I have been bidding on the certificate's weather they are worth anything or not they would just be fun to have...
I was thinking about taking 4 or5 of those old vintage things out of that box put them in a grab bag and expose two or three of the items and keep a couple items a mystery and then put the whole lot up for bid what do you think
