im sorry but you can not do a delivery confirmation with a letter it would have to be priority and that's 5 bucks :)

Yes you can send it delivery confirmation on first class mail .. read the read ticket at the post office .. it only cost 70 cents to add it to your parcel .. I place them on all of my for tracking so others can't say they didn't get them in the mail , so I know that they got delivered to the person , Yes you can add it to any package or letter !!!!

I am sorry that you are confused but the website states... delivery confirmation can be used with:
First-Class Mail® Parcels
Priority Mail®
Package Services Parcels - Includes Parcel Post® , Media Mail® , Bound Printed Matter (paid by permit imprint only), and Library Mail.
Standard Mail® Parcels - must be less than 16 ounces and mailed at the electronic price.
Parcel Select® - must be mailed at the electronic price.
Hold For Pickup - Shipments are mailed and held securely at designated Post Offices up to 15 days depending on the product selected.

It says first class mail parcel not letter. I have asked to send with confirmation before and that is how it was explained to me. I guarantee you did not receive confirmation on a reg first class letter for 70 cents. Please call the post office and ask them.

I have asked at the post office if I could track FIRST CLASS LETTER they said no its has to be a parcel like a thick envelope or box, so please stop claiming you know these things. If you want me to send using confirmation then send my paypal 5 dollars so I can make it priority!

You can't put tracking/delivery confirmation on a letter! You CAN put it on anything in a large envelope, or over 3/4 inches thick. We ARE talking USPS here, right? You don't have to bid if you don't agree with the details.

maybe you need to start using them , I use them every day with my items . and yes you can place them on any letter first class mail, I got a business an use them every day on my items to track things .. just keep peace of mind so things get to where it is going .. that is why is says first class parcel, doesn't mean you can't use them on letter .. yes you can !!! all you have to do is stick it on fill it out ship it and pay the extra 70 cents ..

I use the machines in the post office I don't go to counter , just place it on there an pay for it at the machine and it works every time I sent out one , but I use brown envelopes not the white ones.
