Pink stretch bracelets with a metal infinity charm are from the 2007 Komen breast cancer fundraising campaign (in conjunction with Payless). I bought a whole box of bracelets back then and must have set aside a few for later. Well, later is NOW.

I love this bracelet and wear mine as just jewelry as well-it is that pretty! As a breast cancer awareness item, it is one step up from rubber bracelets you see everywhere and the unique heart ribbon infinity charm is a bit more subtle than the standard ribbon shape. Also a great option to give as a gift to anyone affected by this disease we are trying so hard to cure!

I have provided pictures of the front (as you see they are still on their promotional card and everything), a close-up of the heart infinity, the back of the card, and directions on adjusting size. The black spots on the last photo are where I have marked out an expired coupon that was also part of the promotion. Let me make this clear to avoid any issues with flagging, etc. - This auction is for the bracelet only, and there is nothing of value on the card. I ship the bracelet on its card only to show that it is brand new and in its original packaging! If you have questions or do not understand this, please ask questions!

Allergy alert--Bracelet comes from our smoke-free, pet-friendly home. We have 2 dogs and 1 cat and these bracelets were in a storage box for nearly 5 years. If you have allergies to dander or dust, please be aware.

So there is a million Pink Ribbon items available-why do I wear one?

I wear one because I really believe that seeing it, even if just for a section on a stranger's wrist at the grocery store, might be just what it takes for a woman to be reminded to take a few extra minutes to do a self breast exam that night before bed. Or to make a mammogram appoint she's been meaning to for a year or finally look up where in the community they can volunteer or donate to support women with cancer.

Yes, it is just a little thing, but pink goes with everything and putting it on in the morning is a simple thing I CAN do!

Very nice auction! I bought several of these back in 2007. I sent them to friends that have been diagnosed. Cancer stinks! Cancer does not discriminate, I have a friend that was recently diagnosed. She isn't even 40 yet. My Mom and I are both survivors. My 5 year mark is coming up this summer. Please do your self checks! I found mine myself. Do your checks while in the shower with soap, or use lotion before getting dressed. You can feel that dreaded lump easier when you use one of these methods. Get those mammograms ladies! FIGHT LIkE A GIRL! Fanned and watching.

watcher#36 im a cancer survivor and i love it when i see ppl posting on behalf of the breast cancer awareness i have been a fighter of this disease since i was 5yrs old the 1st time i was diagnosed with skin cancer in 2 places and have had several surgeries since for other types of cancer so thanks to everyone showing their love for those of us who fight this deadly disease great auction!!!!
