The listing, Babe Ruth/ HOF Gold Plated Baseball Cards has ended.

Up for bids is 2 gold plated baseball cards. One is of the Babe and the other has the first 5 HOF players inducted into the HOF. I have done research on here as on ebay to find these cards, and have yet to see one like either, there are many like the babe but not this one, I am not saying that they are rare but they are in amazing condition and will be sent in plastic holders, would be great for any collector.

im not real sure, there is no year on the card, I have done all kinds of research they are 22 karot plated. The numbers on the back are 054003 and 025581. I will do another quick search to see if i can find anything

once again no luck i feel as if this card may have some value, I have seen alot of other cards of babe ruth covered in gold but not one like this or the other one, I have been collecting cards for a long time and know my cards these although I have never found any info about.

Heres a few things I have come across. Doesnt mean they are true but a few tidbits from the net. Made by Danbury Mint possibly in 1994 or 95. They may still make them Im not sure, but more then likely not. You can check their site at one point they were giving these away for the cost of shipping at one per household. But that was just to get people hooked. These cards come from a set of 50, some people say that without the entire set these are worthless. Some others have a different opinion. From what I have seen these are selling anywhere from .99 to upwards of 50.00. But really the starting bid is great and free shipping how could anyone go wrong? GREAT LISTING
