This auction is for 25+ heirloom curly endive seeds. These seeds have been passed down in my family for many generations. The first seed was brought to America by my family in 1896 from Celle di San Vito, Foggia, Italy.

Each year my Grandmother grew this in her garden and harvested the seed in the fall. I have quite a bit, she grew so much so she could serve the greens in the restaurant she owned.

These seeds are from 2000 which was the last harvest of my Grandmother (She died in 2001). I have planted a pinch of these seeds each year just to keep the tradition alive, but I always end up with more then i can eat since I'm now the only one that eats it.
