i dont know how i can prove to you it works besides telling you that i was using this exact remote before i realized that i had 6 controllers betweem 2 xboxes and there was never more than 4 being ised at once very rarely was there 5 being used so i took thw batteries out and sealed it an a blank flat rate envelope...hope this helps
