One last thing, I offer Free shipping because, to me,
that is what makes Listia fun. When you bid and win
something, and it is sent to you for free. Because I am

If you expect your item the next day, my auctions are
probably not for you. Thank you for looking!

Bigger as in taller, or more dolls? I'm the same way. I had them as a child, so fond memories. I have some coming in soon, I can message you when they do if you like? Any requests? (Requests will not require a bid) Thanks!

Okey, I see why you're calling them Russian. would you add a photo of the bottoms. They appear to be of nice quality even if not Russian. Thanks!

Sure thing. Is there a way you can tell by the bottoms? I've seen the real wood, then the black paint, and when purchasing them, how do I know if the signature is real. Anyone can write anything they want. It sounds like you know a little about them, so maybe you know. I stay away from a signature that is one letter or symbol or stickers. I've bought one that has it wood burned in it and seller said her Grandmom got it 15-20 years ago when she went to Russia. So I go by my judgement if the signatures look authentic and date worn. However, when buying from another and not myself in Russia, I can only go by what I am told. Thanks. Will upload as soon as I can. These are very well made I must say. I'm just not crazy about the design. Thank you!

You said sold "as is".. I did look at the photos closely but I don't see anything "noticeable" that is wrong. Are there any cracks nicks or scratches??
Thanks for posting! I've been trying to collect different designs of these!!

No, nothing wrong that I can see if I didn't put it in the listing. I write "AS IS" just
for protection for me. I try to describe my listings to the best of my knowledge and
put lots of pictures. I just put that on all my auctions. The other doll has an issue, but I listed in the description. This one is actually well made and fits together nicely.
Thank you for asking and commenting! Blessings!

Your title states "Russian Dolls", if not marked how do you know they are Russian? Nesting dolls are made in China & other countries to resemble Russian but the value is totally different.

As I said in the other comment, I listed them as Nesting Dolls "also known as" Russian Dolls, because that is how I knew them to be called, as a child, regardless of their origin. I will be having listings for dolls that are signed and where I do know the origin, but I am very honest, and I was trying not to misrepresent the item. If you or anyone else feel I have listed it wrong, you have every right to contact Listia and they will let me know if I have listed it incorrectly. Thank you! Blessings!

I know you said in the listing that you don't know their origin but in the title you say Russian?

Thank you for bringing that point to my attention. I will have to think of a way to fix, maybe a question mark. My reasoning was that I knew them growing up as "Russian Dolls" not Nesting Dolls. So I thought if I put that in the listing, those that never heard the term "Nesting" and looked up in search as "Russian" would find the listing. Maybe it works for search even if it's just in the description? Well, that was my reasoning. I listed them Nesting dolls "also known as" "Russian Dolls". If I have confused you or you are disappointed after reading the listing, please let me know. That is NOT my intention. If you were just curious, I have no problem explaining that question. Thank you! Blessings!

Also, I am very aware of the dolls that come from Russia, China and USA, That is why I PUT IT IN THE LISTING. If you don't like my listing, as I said, keep going. Thank you!
