This auction is for 25 fully active non-hybrid seeds. These green beans are of the "no string" / vine variety, and beans grow up to two feet long. Due to their size it only takes a couple dozen per portion. Great flavor, and freeze well, which is great as a fifty foot row will produce approx. 2lbs. every other day! 25 seeds will make roughly a 25 foot row. They are ideal for container growing as well,when trellised! A must have for your garden!!

will they grow well in southern California?

I live on the 32nd parallel...I think that San Diego is about the same. They grow great here, so they will probably do well there, if not better!! They are very heat tolerant, and don't seem to mind the sandy soil mix I grow in.

I actually live in Southern South Carolina, but have friends that live in Cali. Thanks again for bidding, if you don't win this one, I will start on late tonight that will end around 10 pm (your time) Sat. Night....most folks on this side of the country should be in bed by then.
