Being that it's a 20 year old book & has been read & read to, many eager ears over that period of time, it's a used book. No writing on the pages or tears. The binding is solid, no bent pages, just showing appropriate use of a well Loved book. It measures 5" x 6", just the right size for chubby little hands to hold comfortably, Or for Grandma too!
