its a dell 6400 inspiron 2gb ram 250gb hard drive it should have windows 7 i have 2 just like it very good computer to surf the internet with but far as holding memory and running apps and multitasking with but nothing the less very durable you up grade the ram to a 4gb ram and wipe the hard drive and down load windows 7 P U will have a great lap top to run with

can you show a pic of it on and is the charger bad or is it the dc jack on the back that is needing repair ...i have the same laptop i just need 1 for parts to fix the 1 i have or use my parts to upgrade this one...thanks and hope you have a great day

no prob...I could probably use my hardrive and memory to see if I can upgrade it if I happen to winb it as I have the same trpe and I believe the charger I have should work if not they are not to much on ebay,,,,so I hope I win it....would you do a gin for 5291 in credits?....thaks
