The listing, Long Bone/Shell Accent Necklace Northern Arizona Very Vintage has ended.
I'm not sure what to call this, but it was in the box my mother labeled "Northern Arizona Trading Post/Window Rock." This is a vintage necklace with a very long, over 2" pendant that may be made out of bone, shell or similar natural material. The rest of the necklace is about 16" in circumference and has clear spacers and vivid red accent beads. It also has two polished stones, toffee in color (not plastic). I don't know what kind of stone. Natural, for sure; they are highly polished. A very unusual piece.
My mother used to frequent trading posts and flea markets many decades ago in northern Arizona, in her hunt for Native American and other treasures, jewelry and curiosities. She stopped buying after she turned 60, so everything has to be 1970s or earlier. I'm continuing to clean out boxes from my garage, whenever I get the energy, and finding some lovely things of hers.
