Both are hand knitted by me using hand spun wool yarn.

Nice hats! What kind of wool was used to make the yarn?

I bought the yarn along with a lot of fleece so I can start spinning my own. I am not sure exactly what type of wool she used for these yarns. I can tell you it is soft and warm. :)
Definitely would want to hand wash and no dryer!

You did a very good job on spinning the yarn. Did you use a spinning wheel or a drop spindle?

I didn't spin this particular yawn. However, I am learning to spin on a drop spindle until my friend finishes my kick spindle.
