I don't know ... I have never had them checked. How can you tell if they are real?

if you bite on one it would feel like a tooth, if not, then it'll feel like a bead/glass/plastic

I tryed your test ...They just fill hard and smooth, Don't know if that is any help. Oh and I didn't mention that they are strung on a string.

i know another test, if you want to try, thats up to you. Take the pearls and rub them across your teeth and if the coloring comes off they are fake. but you have to rub hard , but not hard like to break your teeth, just put pressure on it.

tooth test, you rub the surface of the pearl over your teeth. Supposedly a real pearl feels gritty while a faux pearl feels smooth.
