The listing, My cat thinks shes a dog... has ended.

I have this cat that thinks she is a dog. She likes to play fetch with only red and white fish. The dog ate it and she won't play with these ones so i am auctioning these off.

included are
3 fuzzy things (Picture 3)
2 small mice (picture 4)
4 feathery bell type toys (picture 5)
3 small balls with bells in them, they are plastic (Picture 6)
2 large mice (Picture 7)
1 wand thing with a feather toy hanging down (picture 8)

ALL INCLUDED. Except the picture of my guard kitty, There was another cat outside and she was standing there hollering at it. So the cat guards the house and the big puppy lays on the floor.

Questions & Comments

We have a female cat who will only play fetch with foam earplugs (lol, of all things!!) and we call them her "babies", just like you Hon85!! We discovered this after she stole my earplugs once from our bedroom, now we have them all over the house because she plays with them so much and loses them all the time!! She actually brings them to us and waits for us to throw them, just like a dog!!

Thats the only thing i dont miss... Sitting on the couch in the dark watching one of my ghost shows and this thing comes plopping down on me, she would bring her fish jump on the back of the couch and drop it on you. The last time she did that it wasn't a toy fish it was a huge cricket.

Bunnies are fun too. I've had a few bunnies, hubby won't let us now. He says we aren't a zoo. We have too any animals as it is and we aren't on a farm yet. I tell him we have to have more, kids have such a wonderful learning experience and the closest zoo is 3 hours away. Nothing better than living in a rural area. fanning you back

I am alergic to animals and it makes me sad. I love them so and they all love me bk. I have a sis who has a cat named Monty, and he has a unique personality as well. It must be a cat thing. I had to stop in and see what this item was up for auction, because the way you started to word it, I thought it was for a childs book about a cat that thought it was a dog. It peeked not only my intrest, but others as well. I think this is a very cute auction and I have become one of your fans, because of the way you write. GL with your auction.

really? lol that would be cute to hear. I tried to get a picture the other day of this cat (we have two) laying on the dogs bed. We have a Belgian malnoise (very close to a German Shepard) so her bed is large and there is this itty bitty cat laying on it just like the dog. One night the kids took a picture of me, the dog laying in front of me and the cat at my feet on a love seat, it was a little crowded. Dog thinks shes a lap kitty and a cat that thinks she is a dog.

She sounds wonderful. I have a cat besides the pom you see pictured for me. I wanted to warn you about the toys with bells: be sure they aren't where the animal can get to them; my vet told me that he has surgically removed 100s of bells from the throats of cats and dogs over the years and that many of them did not make it. If there's any possibility that an animal can get ahold of the bell, please cut it off for the sake of your four-legged friend. THanks.

Thanks for the info. The balls have bells inside of them. And the 4 feather things that have bells also have a plastic flower thing around them. That i would suggest playing with kitty with supervision and then put away until play time again.

You ought to try letting your cat play with the paper the tea bag comes in. Just crumple it up and throw it and see if your cat is interested.

yeah. in my house cat toys last about 2 minutes. and then are lost forever! i even gave them a plastic wiffle ball thinkin it was big enough not to lose....wrong! 5 minutes! thats all it took to lose it. still cant find it and i live in a tiny apt. have no clue where it went, lol! fanned ya and watching.

She managed to keep it for almost a year. We did lose it once for about 3 months then i cleaned out from behind the fridge. the dog ate it the next day, we been without for almost 2 years now.

love the picture. Our dog takes her toys (I'm sure to keep the cat from taking it as ransom from eating her toy fish) and puts it on her bed and sleeps with her chin on it.

This is too Funny! I thought my cat was the only one who plays fetch, but he only plays fetch with a little head of a mouse that I bought for him along time ago. I call it his baby. And yes I have to keep it away from the dog. She got a hold of and almost ate eat. This is a very nice auction, But like your cat mine doesnt play with any other toys except her baby !

I took video of her once playing fetch. Kind of she can jump 6 feet and catch it. Anyway, I video taped it and had it on the computer and she went crazy because some other cat was playing with her red and white fish. So i recorded her watching herself on the computer.
I can not find a red and white fish anywhere. She is so sad now.

I have two fetching cats (brothers) and they only fetch bottle caps and pipe cleaners. Probably because those are the only things the ferrets don't steal...LOL.

Cats are picky. My kitten guards the house. All mine are inside cats and when any animal comes around (i'm in a rural area, so there are a lot) she hollers and runs to the doors windows. Our dog just sits there... guard cat not guard dog.

lol, how funny, reminds me of my 7 month old, she only plays with this big fat neon green mouse I got for her for christmas, and its bigger than her head, so when she comes tearing around the corner with it in her mouth it looks like a black cat body with a green head.....hehe
My older cats plays with anything, he would enjoy these!

I like their suggestion "Place Ping pong balls in an empty bathtub and let your cat bat them around. This game is particularly exciting for kittens and younger cats"
too bad we dont have a bathtub, the builder of the house put in an bath tub sized shower.
