Postage prices went WAY up last week. I MUST begin to limit my Free Shipping listings. It has simply become too expensive.

I am new at this and I'm thinking how this could really add up fast paying all this postage.

Yup, it sure could. I've always shipped free ~ it was worth it because I could win enough in gift cards to offset the cost. But gift cards have gone way up, and my Euro charms (and beads and findings for beaded jewelry) are very popular. I ship up to 50 packages a week, and I just can't afford to ship everything free any more.

So I've set up most of my items with two styles of listings ... free shipping, and paid shipping at much lower credits. This offers people a choice ... and if you don't have enough credits for my "normal" free shipping listings, you can still win the item if you can send me paypal for shipping.

Shipping went WAY up two weeks ago. I spend $50 to $100 a week on shipping and it's just too much. I appreciate that my listings are so popular, but I hope that people who can afford to pay the shipping help me out by choosing my non-free-shipping listings some of the time.
