I really don't know, I've never made one. I think I would get another kind of yarn for that. This is cotton, and I would get something that could be washed over and over without shrinking. It says this is washable, but there isn't enough for a blanket, unless you are going to make it an all color one.

I'm not sure. On the package is says 2 1/2 oz or 70 g. its cotton 8. I hope that means something. If not I'm sorry.
