The listing, Greeen Obsidian has ended.

Green obsidian from Glass Butt in Eastern Oregon, This is for 2 nice sized pieces and has black running through out both pieces. Size of the first piece is about 3" X 2.5" x 2". The second piece is somewhat smaller 2" x 2.5" X 2". They would make beautiful cabochons and this material works up very easy.There is plenty to make several nice sized cabcons.

Questions & Comments

How do you make cabochons? Do you melt these? I've never heard of them until the past 2 week's and now I'm seeing them everywhere! And I'm a very crafty person, I do everything from hand painted ornaments to sewing and making jewelry, and somehow I have missed cabochons, is there another name for them?

You have to cut (diamond saw) grind them to shape and then polish them. No other name that know of. A lot of work but so worth it On my facebook page I have several pics of jewelry that I have made and lots of flower pics too. Check it out. Hope this answered your quesions, LaDona
