1948 Wheat Penny.
I thought the back of this penny is different than what we normally see everyday. It's not in perfect condition because it's been circulated around regularly and I received it from a grocery store. But it's still pretty neat to see a penny this old :)

Yes I know they're different. I have a 1948 wheat penny. But this was the only good picture I found with the same backing detail as the 1948 penny. So in other words the penny looks exactly the same as the picture only instead of 1914- it is 1948.

I dont know too much about coins- what do you mean by mint?

Under the date it may have a letter- either D( Denver mint) or S (SAN Fransisco mint) or no date (Philly Mint)

Thank you for explaining that to me. It is a Philly Mint- it does not have any letters under the date. I dont know if thats good or bad but I hope it helps :)
