Description
The listing, Lemon Trees has ended.
These are 4 live lemon trees. They are about 2 to 4 inches tall. They need to be planted indoors for growth before you plant them into larger pots or outdoors. They will produce lemons in about 4 years if taken good care of.
Questions & Comments
Is it just the seedling of a tree or how tall is it,.. and will it come with roots and dirt to protect it?.. how will it be shipped .. love these lemons hard to find in Pennsylvania lol..
they are seedling about 2 to 4 inches tall. They have roots but I ship them in wet towels and when they arrive you plant them into to pots to give them a chance to grow. I have a new way of shipping in which about 99 percent of them arrive in great shape.
Not if the don't stay outside the whole time. I usually send them out and pack them good, and I make sure they go out in warmer weather here because it takes my mailman about 4 hours to pick them up, then they are usually kept inside areas that aren't freezing until they are delivered to you. I sent 4 up to Alaska in 40 below and the lady said they got there fine but they had lost all their leaves but she planted them into pots and kept them watered and she said in about 3 weeks they all had new leaves and were doing fine.
It's a miniature lemon tree, mine is about 4 ft, but some people who plant them outside says they will get around 6 ft. so I figure it is where it is planted. All I knew about the name is the lady who sent me mine called them a miniature lemon tree, and mine is in a pot. They don't need instructions, all you do when you get them is plant them in pots and let them get some growth. These are very young trees, about 2 inches tall, and they need growth before you plant them in larger pots or outdoors.
well these are very young trees and they are put into pots when they arrive, because they will be in shock and they have all done well that I have sent out. One lady in Alaska, said when hers came in there was no leaves on them, just stems, and I worried about them, but she said she potted them and kept them water and in sun and in about 3 weeks she said they had leaves and were doing great. She keeps hers in a sunroom and she says they are just doing great in the Alaskan climate.
Beautiful tree! How big is the tree when you ship? I'm sure it doesnt look as vibrant as the one in the picture? lol I simply love this tree, gorgeous! :)
