The listing, $10 (CND) SUBWAY GIFT CARD has ended.
$10 (CND) SUBWAY GIFT CARD in Canadian Funds - Free Shipping in Canada and the US as its only good here ... US neighbors welcome to bid to if your visiting us soon ...... nothing like a $3 6^ special and this is almost enough for three $3.00 specials .. minus that wonderful thing we love to call taxes : P
Awesome Question !!! I always wondered Stephy why Listia doesn't have listers specify the currency type of gift cards .. If you to posted a gift card here it would be $ USD thus $ CDN indicated my gift-cards are purchased in Canadian currency. Our dollar is lower right now then the US dollar ... I think it could be awhile before we hit parity again (equal value $1 CDN = $1 US .... Its better right now for American's to shop in Canada. Since commodities (gold, oil, wheat, etc...) are traded in US Currency it has impact on our dollar. The world economies are still not doing too well.... I do not see things correcting themselves in the next few years as many people still go beyond their financial means. The sub prime mortgages in the US did not help things much ... remember good old Fanny May and Freddy Mac ... I only wish the government had stepped in sooner here to help Canadian's avoid this situation more. Sure we were better positioned at the time but by not being more proactive it didn't help. The head of the Bank of Canada defected to the United Kingdom ... Can you blame him... So CDN means Canadian Dollar ... Thanks for asking !!! Its a good time to shop in Canada as your dollar is worth more !!! Peace Always Tommy G
I agree with that whole CND / USD listed currency thing. I know lots of people who probably bid 1st before checking out an auction's location, so that helps to have it in the title... I'll have to keep that in mind now :D
