"Luscious PEARL" is that a type of pearl? or are you describing them as being luscious.. just want to make sure they are real and natural shape pearls. Thanks

As an amateur seller I guess I have been influenced by shampoo bottles or something and words like that come to mind as I look at the glow and visual softness and rich creamy color of the pearls. My word. sorry for the confusion ;D

Thank you!
A little trick of the trade for pearls is to rub them against your teeth. If it has a grainy texture to it they are real. If they rub smooth they are fake.

Honestly, I just tried rubbing them against my front teeth and then the edge of my teeth and I absolutely cannot tell what I am trying to feel. I always click glass-appearing jewelry to my teeth and can always tell if it is plastic/acrylic or glass/crystal/stone, but with pearls....I am at a loss. Wish you could tell in the pics for sure, but they look great to me. However if counterfeit, I might be tricked. They feel heavy and look pearly. Is there another test to try?

Honestly to me they sound real. All of the pearls I own though are smaller sets. Therefore I wouldn't be able to know about how heavy that big of a necklace would be. I have heard that rubbing two pearls together to see if there is any resistance can also tell. Hope that helps.

Ok...I have two strings of pearls that I have compared. The shorter one (22") has a slightly larger pearl, same clasp, looks the same in appearance to me, but the shorter one seems to offer more resistance and grit than this larger one. It is very subtle but if anyone would prefer the shorter one instead that seems to meet the criteria, I will be happy to mail it out instead. I just can't say much more than that. I wish I were more educated in jewelry. I guess you learn as you go ;D
