The listing, 50's Art Deco Pelican / Tucan Chrome Ashtray has ended.

Great Art Deco Ashtray from the 50's. Made by Hamilton. It measures 5 3/4" in diameter & & 2 3/4" high. You can place a cigarette in the birds mouth. In fantastic shape, just some VERY light surface scratches in the chrome, in the tray part.

My granfather had one exactly like this in his basement bar.

I have one of these ashtrays, been trying to figure out what the beaks hold other than cigarettes. best a could come up with is matchbooks. very nice item you have up for auction here. Fanned and watching.
