The listing, Lavender Delphinium has ended.
Delphiniums have long been a garden favorite, but they suffer from relatively short lives and a tendency to "flop." Have enhanced heat and humidity tolerance, coupled with the same cold tolerance Delphinium has long possessed. They can grow at least as far south as Zone 7, and they also boast excellent form, vigorous growth habit, and rich, vibrant color.
Resistant to deer and rabbits, this variety is also quite mildew-resistant if given full sun and a little breathing room in the garden. Butterflies and hummingbirds flock to its blooms, so give it a place of prominence and enjoy those two seasons of bloom!
Space plants 2 to 3 feet apart to give them room to grow. lightly shaded spot in basic (alkaline) soil--if your soil is more acidic, one way to change this is by adding some lime. Delphinium also appreciates some fertilizing--keep applying rich, organic compost all season to produce the finest blooms. Cut back the first flush of blooms quickly to stimulate re bloom.
With good maintenance, Delphiniums' will produce dozens of unbelievable vivid, cut flower-quality blooms over a very long season! Zones 3 to 7
