WOW-A black bear came to my front door and looked in through the glass! He acted like he was my cat. My husband laughed at me and we went out to look, he was gone. He didn't believe me until it was on the news! We live on the golf course in Gulf Breeze Fl. (it does have bear crossings about 30 min. from here...but WHAT!!!!) I have a mini pot-bellied pig who was outside in the back at the time. I ran out to make sure he didn't mess with lil CandyMoe (100pds) but thankfully he was fine. Crazy right? Just thought I would share...and NO I am not crazy..lol!!!

Great auction!!! I love this stuff!! I teach students with emotional/ behavioral problems. We have a school store, used as an incentive!! Some of what I get on Listia goes directly to the store!!!!

Seriously, I collect lot's of these types of auctions to put together boxes for our Local Women's Assault Shelter.
Some I keep, much of it I auction, but a lot of it goes "into the boxes" till I have enough to make a drop! Not bragging, just don't want to seem greedy!

Wow way overboard for me but yes this is nice for a first auction....be sure to get insurance and tracking or priority mail or get signed receipt because since you announced this is your first auction you do not want someone to come and say they never ever received all those items

Talking about your bear, I live in Colorado Springs, CO, and we have it all. Bears, deer, mountain lions, bobcats, coyotes, foxes. You name it. Not safe to leave pets out in your backyard around here. The deer are great though, some that live in the neighborhood you can almost pet.
