This is a vintage Arizona turquoise nugget necklace. The nugget is approximately 1.25" long and the necklace is accented by silvery round beads and variegated seed beads in shades of tan, sand and other colors. It is approximately 16" in circumference without the nugget, which is really substantial. It looks different on either side (you can see closeups of both the front and the back. The toning is different. It's almost like having two different nuggets.)

My mother used to frequent trading posts and flea markets decades ago in northern Arizona. I'm continuing to clean out boxes from my garage, whenever I get the energy, and finding some beautiful things of hers. I'm not sure where she picked this one up but it was lovely enough to keep throughout the decades since.
