ttention, fellow yarn crafters! I'm offering a nice lot of 6 full skeins of Coats & Clark Luster Sheen yarn in #805 Natural, 2 oz. ea., all the same dye lot, 100% acrylic. The yardage per skein is not given, but this is a thinner weight yarn (ideal for socks or other ladies' or baby accessories or garments) so there is quite a bit per skein. The recommended knitting needle size is 5 (which I am currently offering a few sets of!). The recommended crochet hook size is not given, but I would say size C through F would work fine.

Our home is smoke-free, and our dogs have not been near the yarn, which has been stored in a Ziploc bag in a Rubbermaid container in my craft closet.

could you use it for an afghan?

You could, but you would want to check the type of yarn called for in the afghan pattern. Most afghan patterns call for either a #3 sport weight, #4 worsted weight or #5 bulky. This yarn appears to be a size #2 fine. So if you used it, your squares or rows would be a lot smaller/shorter than if you used thicker yarn.
