Easy to grow and beautiful to look at.
These are a good size for the back of the border or next to outbuildings.
They attracting butterflies and birds. Grows between 5 - 7 feet tall.
Makes a great conversation piece since the white sunflower is sort of rare.
From last summers plants and ready to be planted for this summer 2014.

WOW,...good question.
Honestly I have no idea if they are edible or not.
Never really tried eating them.
Will do some research and will let you know later on.

The blooms are highly attractive to bees, butterflies and other pollinators and the seed heads are loved by birds especially finches. The black-seeded varieties are mainly for oil and birdseed. The grey and white-striped varieties are for drying and eating
