I have been making them for here and ebay for about 3 years, no one ever complained about that. They are silver plate or 925 silver and they will tarnish. Tarnish means sort of become dull. Just use a jewelry cloth and rub each charm, the bracelet if it is metal and it will brighten right back. I got mine at Walmart for about 3 dollars.
