This auction is for the IMAGE COMICS, YOUNGBLOOD Vol.1 Issue #3. (pictures 1-3) This issue comes with a 5 - page insert on the reverse, of the preview of YOUNGBLOOD, ENTER -- SUPREME, (pictures 4-6) and was released in Aug. 1992.
Image Comics was created by Rob Liefeld after strained relationships with DC Comics over his X-Force royalties and he took Youngblood with him, and it became Image Comics flagship publication even though Youngblood did make a debut as a back-up feature in a DC Comic in 1987. Many were to say that Youngblood began all that was wrong with the comics of the 90's because of its graphic violence and foul language.
Being a member of the first volume of Youngblood it is highly collectable, and the fact that it is in MINT CONDITION leaves no doubt about this ones worth. The first 3 pictures have the book removed from the plastic so you can see the corners and cover art better.
