This is the best iPhone 3GS you could hope to have. Well, it used to be, until it was plugged into a bad charger which overheated and swelled the battery.

Here's why someone knowledgeable should repair it:

1. Old bootrom! Very rare these days, almost unbrickable, great for hackers. Google "3GS old bootrom" for details.
2. SIM unlocked - good for all GSM carriers (ultrasn0w)
3. Jailbroken - 5.13.04 baseband
4. Screen and case are in good condition, very few scratches

Again, this phone is in non-working condition. No repairs have been attempted, I just don't have the time. The battery swelled, which bowed the mainboard, and put pressure on the screen, popping it off.

The screen does not appear to be damaged, the connectors and ribbon cables are still perfect. Just the glass/digitizer/LCD assembly goes for $25 on eBay! Other parts such as camera, buttons, etc. are good. You definitely need a battery, probably a mainboard unless it survived the flexing.
