I have been in the doll business for over twenty years. These are not hard to find but they are hard to come by with all of there original paint intact. These were made of a very cheap quality bisque called Stone bisque then painted.. however they were not baked or sealed after so even a dab of water takes the paint right off. This is a nice little pair.

well thank you so very much for that info I wonder what kind of paint is actually on these then since I have wiped them off and the paint is still intact perfectly, does that mean it is not the original paint???? I have had them for many, many years. any more info?? thanks again
