up for bids is my old (cleaned) 20" sterling silver rope necklace. it is 1.5mm wide and measures 21" with the clasp. it weighs 10.0 grams and is stamped "italy" and "925". the clasp is not the original and cannot verify if it is silver or not. a new silver clasp can be put on by any jeweler for about 5 bucks. ive not had any problems with the one i put on. there is also some tarnish i couldn't get off on the ends of the necklace. a silver cloth or some silver polish would clear that up nicely. other than that it has been a great chain for me, but i just got a bigger one.
