1800's Cross embossed Mason Pat.Nov,30TH 1858 with zinc top .This jar is nicely whittled and on the base it reads Pat.Nov.133 -26-67 with a + embossed ..
This Jar stand at 7 1/4 " tall & 3 2/3 " wide on the bottom base .This is in the color of aqua green .Not only just a jar it is a delightful representation of the past in home made and farm grown preservatives something that slipped back and quickly disappearing from a better way of living . .
Good by is the day of the Walton's (TV Show) or the General store .the nickel soda pop ,old bottles and Jars such as this shown just ads a little bit in bringing that taste of a warm spring country day back onto your kitchen .
On the top of the Zinc Lid is embossed (Ball)The top is showing some slight ware .I have tried to show the embossed cross in the photos and hope you enjoy the Pics if anything .
I May also add extra bottles to this box as a gift they will be Commonly dug Cork bottles from the early 1900's
