this depicts the USS MONITOR, THE NAVY BATTLESHIP JULY 9, 1862. photograph by JAMES GIBSON. this postcard is not from the civil war era. it is not an old postcard. it was printed in 1994. second picture shows what is printed on back of card.they really look great if you put them in an old looking frame and hang them on the wall. i have done a few like that.
