Wouldn't you have to consider nail room too, her nails grow fast and stick out sometimes.

The nails should be considered too.

those would probably be too small for a german shepherd?

A German Shepherd would be too big for these boots.

As mentioned earlier in my comments I wasn't doing GIN. When there are bids on an auction, then GIN becomes unavailable.

Would it be possible to show them next to a quarter?
Feb 7th, 2014 at 12:39:04 AM PST by
Original
Don't think a pix of a quarter next to the boots would be very helpful. I can say that in addition to the paw measurements given that the boots are approximately 4 inches tall. This should give you a better idea of the size.

Labs???
Feb 6th, 2014 at 2:56:28 PM PST by
Original
I would think that the paws of a lab would be too big for these.

Would these be ok in the slush...like are they waterproof? Being that its suede and all. Thanks in advance.
Feb 6th, 2014 at 1:28:58 PM PST by

I looked at the package and it didn't mention waterproof. I would think these boots are good in snow and keep the ice from freezing between the toes and picking up salt. They have rubber soles which would be helpful.

Well the shoes I have for my dog are a medium size and her paws are about 3x2, yet she's only around 16 pounds. Hopefully they'll fit.
Feb 6th, 2014 at 7:48:41 AM PST by
Original
It is the size of the paws and how they fit. I sure hope they fit your dog if you bid. I found boots on Listia that have worked out.

In the description you said a 3"x2" what did you mean by that?
Feb 6th, 2014 at 12:14:13 AM PST by
Original
These are the measurements given by the company on their package for the length and width of a dog's paw.

Do you think they would fit a 10 pound Pomeranian?
Feb 5th, 2014 at 11:54:40 AM PST by

They would be too big.

So cute, and I love the color. I got some sportier ones cheap from china, they've worked ok, but they are falling apart a bit. I guess you get what you pay for. These would be better, especially with all this snow were having in Chicago this year. My dogs paws freeze so quickly, she stands there holding them up and limping.
Feb 3rd, 2014 at 10:56:54 PM PST by

Sage has had the same thing happen to him with the limping because of the cold. Dog boots are made cheaply although I saw some boots well made but they cost $50. I got a set from a good Listia member that fit Sage and bought some other ones...I was hoping the purple ones would fit since they looked more durable. Some other lucky dog hopefully will fit in them.

If the dog is real small they probably won't fit.
