Oh, I'm watching, darlin' and planning, too! I've got to get more auctions up! My 1st listed auction looks so very lonely...LOL...and having only 1 listed is NOT going to get me the credits I need to get everything I want. I wish one of us could just throw an Artisan jewelry party & invite so many more of these lovely ladies who are artisans, like you & I, and all of us hang out with all our jewelry & supplies. We could trade, buy & sell from each other. Between all the gorgeous pieces I've seen listed on this site that were store bought, but stunning, & all the hand made jewelry from the amazing artisans I'm getting to know here (like you!), why, we'd all go home happy & with so much more than we could ever hope to win holding auctions!! It would be one fun-filled party, that's a fact! So far, I've found about 7 true artisans that I would love to meet in person. Think about it, 8-15 like-minded ladies surrounded by our treasures, sharing the same love of jewelry & creating beauty. We could probably have a 10 hour party, trading tips, tricks & info! Add trading, buying & selling...that's what I'd call one great, interesting, stimulating, motivating, educational & fun-filled get together! I don't get to meet many ladies who create beauty with the things we all use. It would be awesome to get together with those of us who do & can discuss our trade with knowledge & complete understanding. Really, how many times do terms like 'wire wrapping, crimping, knotting, etc.' come up in daily conversation? Never! Unless you're with another artisan who gravitates toward jewelry! I could do the same with crochet lovers! It would be a blast. I'm rambling, so sorry. I'm also chomping at the bit, waiting to see those opal rings you're talking about. Opal is simply stunning. The way the stones are set, I am not sure. Only a jeweler would know for sure.. I think I can get another in a larger size..
