Excellent multipurpose variety.
Pick early for sweet corn.
Dent corn for hominy, masa etc.
2-4 8-9" long ears per 10 - 12 foot stalk.
Hardy plant which can tolerate a variety of soils and climates. Open pollinated so do not plant near other
varieties.
10 - 12 rows of kernels on a small cob.
Very tight husks and kernels help keep out pests.
Seeds were grown 2013. Pest free. Organic.
115 days.
You will receive 50 or more seeds.

Yes, these seeds are non GMO. Hickory King is a very old heirloom seed. Non hybrid.

Because these seeds are open pollinated you will want to keep them away from other varieties of corn. Many people recommend at least 600 feet. They will grow and produce near others but the purity will be lost. One of the reasons I like this corn is that at each stage you get the best of most varieties.
