My kids are collectors and players of this just to help yall in the future, look at the bottoms of the figures. Green is for Spyros adventure orange is for giants and a blue bottom indicates swap force. Also as the seller said they are forward compatible but not backwards compatible. You can use spyro characters or green bottom characters on all the games and portals. Giants characters or orange bottom characters are compatible only to giants and swap force games and portals. And last swap force or blue bottom characters can only be played with the swap force game and can only be used on the swap force portal
