Description

The listing, RARE IMPORTED FRENCH COEUR DE BOEUF TOMATE SEEDS 15+ has ended.

The Coeur de boeuf is a french import that was sent to me by a friend. Also have the marmande variety listed in a seperate auction. These went over well for me last year, and did great in my garden this past year. These seeds are straight from the package, however. The Coeur de boeuf tomato takes on the shape of an ox-heart. Its hearty and heavy. Indeterminate, great for saucing!
85 days. This curious and striking tomato is guaranteed to turn heads as well as satisfy appetites.

I will include a bonus.

Shipping is in USA only, and is FREE!

Will be offering just a few of these heirloom hybrids, so get them while you can.

Hi Okika, I found some more intersting information here that might help answer your questions. " To be precise, the 'Oxheart' or the 'cœur de bœuf' tomatoes. It is a variey of beefsteak tomatoes. The ones coming into Germany are grown in France." Another said "Heirloom seeds are big business here. Common types are widely available; rarer varieties are sometimes produced in small quantities by organic and/or non-GMO farms." I will also mention that they are indeterminate, and have produced more fruit than I expected this year. This was my first year trying to grow these particular type tomatoe and the marmandes, which for some reason were more popular last year with many requests for more. I finally recieved some so decided to list again this year. It was also mentioned that the cut sliced have a beautiful flower shape when sliced, and tastes great with steak, or with a dressing and slices of fresh mozzarella, and basil. I will try to post another picture of the slices here for veiwing.
